Human scale teaching and learning: creating Self-led, co-regulated schools in chaos, crisis and calm.

Polly McGee

This keynote will explore the neurobiology of the individuals within the school environment and their collective dynamic; what it is to be self-led as an authentic expression of your teaching/leadership style; and how to recognise dysregulation in your peers, students and self, and co-regulate your school culture for students and teachers to learn and flourish.

Human scale teaching and learning is an innovative lens to what it is to experience the world at human scale, and the individual factors that build our response to the world, the other humans and systems in it to create a unique approach to leadership and self-awareness.

Human scale is the set of physical qualities and quantities of information characterising the whole human: its motor, sensory, and mental capabilities and how humans interact with their world and all its elements.
