Welcome to the 2026 APPA Conference

I’m so excited to welcome you to the 2026 APPA Conference. This year our theme is “Our Primary Purpose: Vision, Voice, Agency, Impact”, and it really speaks to why we do what we do every day in our schools.

This conference is all about connecting, learning, and sharing. You’ll leave with:

  • Fresh ideas and practical strategies to make a real difference in your school.
  • Insights from inspiring speakers who understand the challenges and joys of primary leadership.
  • Opportunities to connect with colleagues from across Australia, share successes, and build lasting networks.
  • Tools to strengthen your voice and your school’s impact, helping students thrive and feel agency in their learning.

I hope you come ready to be inspired, challenged, and energised. Let’s explore together how our vision and voice can truly make a difference in our schools and communities.

Angela Falkenberg
APPA President
