Flying to Canberra

Canberra Airport is an approximate 20-minute drive from the city centre. Canberra airport has a Domestic and International Terminal and is serviced by Qantas, Virgin, Jetstar, Fly Pelican and Link Airways.

Airport Transfers

Transport Canberra runs ACTION Bus route Rapid 3 with regular services between the Canberra Airport terminal through to the City interchange, Belconnen interchange, Cohen St interchange to Spence Terminus, seven days a week including public holidays. The Rapid 3 route operates every 15 minutes throughout the day (weekdays) and every 30 minutes on weekends.

Australian Parliament House

Australian War Memorial

Australian War Memorial, Australian War Memorial is expanding its galleries as part of a major Development Project to tell contemporary stories of Australian service and sacrifice. All visitors require a free-timed ticket to enter the Memorial Galleries and attend the Last Post Ceremony. Visitors should book their free ticket in advance to guarantee entry. The Australian War Memorial is pleased to be Trip Advisor’s number one attraction in Canberra.

NFSA The Library for APPA

National Film and Sound Archive of Australia (NFSA), is Australia’s national audiovisual cultural institution. The NFSA is open daily in the heart of Canberra on McCoy Circuit, Acton, between Lake Burley Griffin and The Australian National University. Explore the curious collection of audiovisual artefacts on display in The Library, check out the weekly Arc Cinema movie program, or simply enjoy a locally roasted coffee in the cosy Mediatheque or the sunny heritage courtyard.
